Established in 1997, CIB Financial Management is an Independent Financial Advice firm with a team of experts who have over 60 years’ experience in all aspects of financial advice.
Based in Glasgow’s West-end, CIB has been providing a personal service to clients for 25 years.

We specialise in pensions and retirement planning, investments and mortgages. At CIB, we aim to provide a professional service to all our clients but with an added personal touch, as we are strong believers in the synergy created from having a long-term relationship with our clients.

Charlie Carpenter Dip PFS
Financial Advisor / Managing Director
Charlie founded the company in 1997, after spending 25 years working with leading life assurance companies at a national sales manager level. Charlie is a G60 Pension specialist, and has a diploma in financial advice. Charlie specialises in investments, pensions and retirement planning. He takes pride in establishing long-term relationships with all of his clients.

In his spare time, Charlie enjoys spending time with his family. When Charlie is not on a cruise in the Caribbean, he can often be found under the bonnet of his Austin 7s.
Adam Carpenter AdvDip. FA.
Financial Advisor / Managing Director
Adam joined CIB in 2011, initially as a mortgage and protection broker. He then worked towards becoming a fully qualified Independent Financial Advisor in 2014. After becoming Director of CIB in 2019 Adam then worked towards gaining his Chartered status in 2020. In his 11 years in the industry, Adam has developed a particular expertise in helping clients with new build and property purchases, development finance, buy-to-let investments, pensions and investments. Outside of work, Adam enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Kristina Starr-Davies
Trainee Mortgage Broker
Kristina joined CIB in 2019 as an administrator. Prior to this, she worked in the pension industry for 6 years, where she gained invaluable experience in defined benefit and defined contribution scheme administration. Kristina is training to be a Mortgage Adviser. She is currently working towards getting her CeMap qualification, which will equip her with everything she needs to know in giving regulated and up to date advice to our clients. Outside of work, Kristina loves going out for food and spending time with her family.
Dean Simpson
Mortgage and Protection Advisor
Dean joined CIB in 2021 as an administrator, having just graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with an honour’s degree in Finance, Investment and Risk. Dean specialises in residential mortgages, as well as buy-to-let and bridging finance.
Outside of work, Dean spends most of his time in the gym, travelling and going out for coffee.
